The Dragon agreed, and finally venerating and walking among the kumo as their ancient promise bade them, the Sky Dragons descended to aid their Earthly Dragon brothers. Three ancient flying fortresses descended from the clouds to attack the Imperial delta with all the Dragon’s ground forces. In the titanic battle against the Emperor, one of the fortresses fell forever from the sky. The throne remained empty, and the empire fell into territorialism and chaos.
